First of all ground transportation – it’s road and rail, and pipeline transportation.
Road transport – it is transport of the XX century. Agility, the ability to deliver passengers and cargo “door to door”, a small dependence on weather conditions resulted in its rapid development.
Rail transport is different from other types of land transport large volume and variety of traffic, completely independent of weather and the relative cheapness.
Pipeline transportation is transmitting over long distances of liquids, gases and solids (mainly bulk) cargo. Pipelines transported mainly oil and gas. This form of transport stands out relative cheapness of transportation, and is second only to the Sea performance.
